GDAC, a South Korean exchange, announced that they have suspended deposit and withdraw services as a hack took place on the hot GDAC wallet resulting in a loss of approximately 23% of their custodial assets, or $13 million. Due to the size of the loss, private key of the hot wallet may be compromised. In contrast Coinbase holds less than 1% of user funds in hot wallet.
The hackers stole nearly 61 bitcoins (BTC), 350.5 ether (ETH), 10 million wemix tokens (WEMIX) and 220,000 USDT.
