Scammer (0xdfcb) used a multisig wallet (0x1fc2) to modify the router address of TradingHelper contract. When GenesisRewardPool contract uses openTrade function for lending, calling TradingHelper contract’s SwapWETH function does not perform the swap operation via the original sushiswap router, but sends the tokens directly to the scammer.
0x957d obtained ~1M USDC and ~478 WETH from Genesis Protocol via two transactions.
Funds were bridged into Celer cBridge and Uniswap Universal router for ETH. And then the stolen funds were deposited into Tornado Cash.
