OWNLY is a metaverse-focused platform that allows creators and collectors to optimize ownership and utility through innovative applications of non-fungible tokens (NFT). Ownly is created to be a meeting place of artists, gamers, and collectors in the crypto and NFT space.
According to the Dev Team, the stake OWN, earn Mustachio Marauder NFT staking contract was exploited. Total of 930M OWN tokens were drained during the attack. The attacker exchanged the acquired OWN tokens for 115 BNB ($37K+) through a pair transaction.
The pattern of the exploit indicated that a reentrancy attack was utilized. In addition, we believe that the attacker may also be related to the attacker on the recent Bistroo attack because the pToken BIST was utilized to fund the setup of the attack contract.
