Rug Pull Finder aims to combat fraud, scams, and hacks in the NFT space, often investigating crypto rug pulls and offering audits for projects and smart contracts. RPF botched its NFT launch for Bad Guys after received credible warning about possible vulnerability with its smart contract allowing exploiters to mint 400 NFTs instead of 1 per wallet.

Specifically, the team did not add chosenAmount to numberMinted on to: require(_numberMinted(msg.sender)<1, "Already Claimed") allowing an exploiter to pass an arbitrary quantity to the mint function without any issue. As the result, two persons (coordinatedrpcattack.eth -> badpie.eth per OKHotshot) were able to exploit the smart contract, and scooped up over 450 NFTs. The team reached an agreement with the wallets that took advantage of the contract and pay them 2.5 ETH to buy back the remaining 366 NFTs.
