The Association is a collection of dynamic NFTs that change in appearance over time based on team and player on-court performance. 18,000 NFTs are being minted during the 2022 NBA Playoffs (75 editions per player).
The Association NFTs are being issued in a blind-mint, meaning that nobody will know which 2022 NBA Playoffs player they will receive prior to the reveal on April 22nd.
Beosin reported that The Association NFTs (NBA) were exploited due to a contract vulnerability where users can invoke Mint to mint NFTs by using someone else's signature.
The root cause is due to the unverified signature. In the contract code, the vData memory parameter info is not verified in the function that passed in, resulting in a reusable signature, and users can use someone else's signature to mint NFT.
