Xcarnival, an NFT lending pool that provides borrowing tokens quickly and flexibly without selling NFTs, was hacked for 3087 ETH in a series of transactions.

The loss was first reported by Peckshield and was accomplished by allowing the same previously pledged NFT to be reborrowed to drain the assets from the pool.

The work appears to be professional as funds to launch the attack were supplied from Tornado.Cash.

Updated 6/27: The hacker agreed and returned 1467 ETH while keeping the 1500 ETH, netting a profit of approximately $2M.
